time for....a coooool change.......

hiyall,
quick post tonight, the picture above is the tiny glass picckle my friend Ole' sent me for my charlie brown xmas tree. aint it the cutest thing? it fits perfectly on my tree. thanks Ole!

Every January I get spring fever and want to clean house on me. I wanted a change so I went to the hair salon and got my wild child hungarian/cherokee/chippewa hair all chopped off. I am really liking this new do. its short and sassy and easy to take care of. the lady cut it a bit too short, but no worries. it will grow out in no time. I had a hard time getting pictures of the hair cut I would be brave enough to post. man, trying to take a picture of yourself is HARD! I went thru a set of alkaline batteries to get these two pictures. my arms are tired! abby, my dog, did a double take when I let her into the house. she started to growl at me because she didnt reconize me! once I called out aaaaabbyguuuurrlllll.....she knew who it was. you cant see them in the picture, but I have a headfull of greyhairs. now that I have it cut short, I may get brave and color it too.
Keep On Stitch'n On!

aww shucks... the lead item (after the pickle) in your blog. I am so glad you love the pickle. It was just one of those neat things that I had just heard about them and knew where they were.

Great haircut girlfriend. I am growing mine .. think it is time for a new look. As if the silver pumps and turquoise flats i bought today isn't enough. LOL

Your new haircut is great. I did the same late last year. I went from having hair half way down my back to very short. I din't tell anyone until after I had it done so they couldn't talk me out of it.
By the way you don't have grey hair you have natural highlights.

Love and hugs Gina xxx

Your hair cut looks nice. I know your feeling, I went from a perm to straight hair and it takes a while to get adjusted.

I love the pickle! I have 2 from "old world" ornaments. The German folk lore is that you hide the pickle some where on the tree and the first kid to find it gets a gift, but rofl!~!~! I had a 5 German exchange students and everyone told me that they never heard of the custom! ROFL ROFL
Love the new hair cut too! It looks fabulous!
