I hate snow......

the old rez truck, the bed is full of snow......bed is 12 inches deep. 8 inches on the hood
my little car.....will take a long time to dig this out tomarrow am. I maybe calling out, I aint risking life and car to get to work. notice that its dry underneath the car and truck. early this am I went to bed at 2am, woke up at 830am to this.......
view out the front door. the mound you see at the window is accumulation of the door wreath.
we still have power for now. some areas have power failures. maybe a couple of days before it comes back on.

my back yard. it is very deep, right up to abbys butt. she doesnt have to cop a squat. she just had to stand there and let it rip. backyard faces north. it will be a LONG time before all the snow will melt.
we are near blizzard conditions. I havent seen it this bad since the blizzard of '80. state patrol is closing roads and is close to calling marshal law. good thing I have plenty of sewing to do!

I love the snow. A former FL girl I am still amazed at how pretty and peaceful it is We got anyway from 6 to 8 inches here in Statesville, NC. Now comes the ugly part of snow as the plows push it off the roadways and our horses trampled the snow into mud!

My sis and parents (live in Hampton) were stuck up here in No. VA yesterday. I'm living west of 95 and the snow missed me almost completely! I'm SOOOOO bummed. I live in the country and wanted a white covered pasture to enjoy the scenary. Instead, I had 1/2" that blew away in last night's wind.

However, my sis is overly excited to get back to Hampton today and enjoy the snow herself. The thought of shoveling all that doesn't even phase her.

It is very pretty. I am living in the Denver Colorado area and we have not seen much snow this year. In fact, they are telling us to water the grass because it is so dry.
